Star w-chess player GM Alexandra Kosteniuk wins first Chessdarts World Champiognship.

At a very amusing biathlon in Amsterdam, Alexandra Kosteniuk and Andy Fordham became the first Word Champions Chessdarts.
Two completely different and fascinating sports merged together in one competition. Why not? “They merged “Langlaufen” and “shooting” and made it an Olympic discipline, didn’t they?”
Alexandra amazingly won all 5 Chess Blitz games against some strong Grand Masters. The final was won by this new sport couple of 200 pounds average weight. After Andy lost his Darts match against Raymond van Barneveld by 1 to 3, Alexandra’s decisive win of her fifth game against IM Tea Lanchava finally brought them the title.
w-chess was there to investigate the possibilities to combine Darts and Chess in a new Mobile Competition.
